A Chef's Perspective-Bladewise Kitchen Knives
About Me
My journey hasn’t exactly been straightforward. I dropped out of college because, honestly, it never felt right for me. I knew from the start that I wanted to become something more — someone different, someone driven. I’ve always had a strong work ethic, a big imagination, and a mindset that pushes me to work hard at whatever I do. But at that time, I didn’t know where to put all that energy.
After leaving college, I started drifting down the wrong path. I was doing stupid things, wasting time, and basically throwing away the potential I knew I had. Then one day, almost by accident, I came across a chef apprenticeship. I didn’t expect much from it — I just wanted to be doing something productive and earning a bit of money. But the moment I stepped into the kitchen, something clicked. I loved it. And from there, I pushed myself to improve constantly, learning, grafting, and striving to become better every day.
Then everything took a turn. I injured myself badly at work — tore something that needed immediate surgery. Suddenly I wasn’t allowed to work for six weeks. Going from being busy and active to doing nothing was rough. I felt unproductive, uneasy, and honestly, pretty depressed.
But I’ve never been someone who stays down for long. During that time off, I made a decision: instead of waiting around, I’d start building something of my own. That’s where my business selling chef products — like knives and soon much more — began. It gave me purpose, focus, and something to grow while I recovered.
Now, six months after surgery, I’m back in the kitchen during one of the busiest periods of my career. I’m balancing work, business, personal growth, and all the challenges that come with it. But every day I’m improving — step by step — becoming the entrepreneur I know I’m meant to be.
